I was aiming for a 6 month session… two months later isn’t so bad 😉
Every time I look at my baby, I feel so blessed that God gifted him to us! An unplanned surprise that I will never stop being grateful for! At eight months, Hudson is army crawling faster than I’ve seen most babies crawl, has two teeth coming in top, front and center (will be his first two!), prefers to explore on the ground than be held in the arms, loves his big brothers so much and will laugh at basically anything funny or non-funny they do!, loves to cuddle, is completely weaned and takes 100% formula (no judgment! I am so engorged (yet excited) through this process! formula-fed babies are loved JUST as much as breastfed babies… more even, ha ;)), he takes naps and goes to sleep on his own… now, if we can just work on the *staying* asleep part!
I’m not going to lie or sugar coat… being a mommy, a wife, a full-time (+ some) social worker, a part-time (+ a lot more) photographer, a house keeper, a launderer, a cook, etc…. IS TOUGH COOKIES! This year my goal is to take better care of myself while still balancing all the above
The one thing (ok, two!) I could never imagine my life without… is being a mommy and wife. When things get tough, so tough, I remember this and it helps to appreciate the family that I am blessed with ♥
And now, without further ado… photos of my lil’ Hudsies (with my mommy goggles on, for sure!).
this face just kills me ♥
yeah, this is all he was interested in doing! why waiting until 8 months is not ideal for portraits!!!
this ♥ his, “my teef hurt sooo bad” face ♥♥♥
and this… it’s impossible for him not to smile, such a happy, happy baby ♥
Thank you for looking! Xo ♥
